She was predeceased by : her parents, Silverio Hernandez and Rebecca Cardona Hernandez (Castro). She is survived by : her husband Robert Alanis; her children, Robert Joshua Alanis of Pflugervillle, Rodney Alanis (Rosa) of El Paso, Texas, Nicole Alanis of Clovis and Shari Gonzales (Chris) of Hutto, Texas; her siblings, Ana Ramirez of Jarrell, Anita Hernandez of Carrizo Springs, Texas and Silverio Hernandez of Donna, Texas; her grandchildren, Britany Urban (Jayson), Alexandra Alanis, Hayley Kidd (Riley), Madison Kidd, Aidan Alanis, Charlie Gonzales, Catalina Alanis, Sofia Alanis and Camila Alanis; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Urban, Jaylynn Urban and Preston Urban.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge Houston, 6801 Ardmore Street, Houston, Texas, 77054.
