He was predeceased by: his parents, John Weldon Smith and Billie Joan Damron Smith; and his sister Cindi Colleen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Perez; his sons, Christopher John Smith, David Adam Smith (Staci), Stephen Smith (Danee) and Michael Smith (Amanda); and his sibling's children, Robin Miller and Aaron Stallings. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
