He was predeceased by: his parents, Anselmo Gonzalez Sr. and Graciana Gonzalez; his daughter Rebecca Gonzalez; his brothers, Anselmo "Chemo" Gonzalez Jr. and Jose Manuel "Pepe" Gonzalez; his niece Yvette; and his nephews, James and Paul.

He is survived by: his son Raul "Rudy" Gonzalez Jr.; and his siblings, Gonzalo "Chalo" Gonzalez, Blanca Silva, Mary Barraz, Hope Castillo and Irma Gonzalez. He is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Daily County Cemetery.
