He was predeceased by : his parents, Burtis Fenton and Lois Wade; his former life partner Billie Jean Fenton; his son Gary Lee Fenton Jr.; and his brother Jerry Fenton.
He is survived by : his wife Lavada Fenton of Nacogdoches; his children, Pam Schwertner (Dan) of Santa Fe, TX., Stacy Schwertner and Sabrina Schwertner; his great grandchildren, Pierce Austin and Garrison Lee Schwertner of Santa Fe, TX.; and his children, Mike Adams (Cyndi), Joyce Ady (Terry), Karen Ballow (James) and Paula Gill (David).
