Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors (5400 North St, Nacogdoches, TX 75965). A rosary was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe (4401 Old Lufkin Rd, Nacogdoches, TX 75964).
In lieu of flowers, John asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to his heart.
