He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jo Compton Hartt and Sonny Hartt; and his siblings, Nancy Hartt Williams, Lynn Hartt, Glynn Hartt and Tammy Hartt Dutton.

He is survived by: his grandchild Logan Ruth Hartt; his wife Teresa Cranford Hartt of Garrison; his children, Heath Hartt (Sara) of Carthage and Holly Oliver (Brennan) of Conroe; his grandsons, Mason Hartt, Jax Oliver, Jake Oliver, Kaleb Hartt and James Oliver; and his siblings-in-law, Buddy, Patsy Cranford of Carthage, Billy Cranford of Garrison, Jeanie Hartt of Denton, Ronnie Dutton of Kingston, Glenn and Martha Williams of Shelbyville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
