With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Meyers of Nacogdoches, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Edward Meyers; his siblings, Nina Howe, Miggie Smith, Diane Meyers, Cathy Meyers and Jimmy Meyers; his half-brother E. C. Meyers; and his mother Elizabeth Svoboda Meyers.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Meyers of Texas City, Texas.; his children, Rob (Eileen), Ronnie (Christina) and Susan of Nacogdoches; his sisters, Vera Tibaldo of McKinney, TX and Dorothy Johnson of Galveston, TX; and his grandchildren, Jacob Meyers, Matthew Meyers, Christopher Meyers, Rebecca Martinez (Meyers) and Timothy Meyers. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laird Funeral Home (2116 South St, Nacogdoches, TX 75964). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
