He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephriam Elem Hampton and Mary Frances Freeman Hampton; and his sisters, Diane Kizer and Carolyn Tibbitts. He is survived by: his wife Becky Hampton of Naples; his daughter Angie Baldwin; his son-in-law Mike Reiner of Sabine, Texas; his son Leonard Cory Ray Hampton; his daughter-in-law Amanda Hampton of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and his grandchildren, Hannah Baldwin, Jack Baldwin and Jake Hampton. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornett Cemetery Association.
