Othal leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Othal’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Othal will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Ray and Bessie Ray; her daughter Gayla Turner; and her siblings, Dollie Riggs, Rex Ray and Pete Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Buster Turner (Chan) of Tyler, TX, Bo Turner (Jeanne) of Norman, OK and Shane Turner (Garyan) of Texarkana, TX. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569).
