She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Miers and Dugan Miers; her son David Alen Ritchardson; her husband Harold David Ritchardson; her sister Sue Ballard; and her nephew Mike Ballard.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Ritchardson and Diana Ritchardson Thompson; and her grandchildren, Antonio Gamez and Christina McCaskill Chance. She is also survived by great grandchildren and distant relatives.
