He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Orta and Blasa Orta; his wife Tomasita; and his siblings, Max, Domingo, Valente and Lupita Orta.
He is survived by: his brother Julio Orta; and his children, Oscar, Olga and Emma Orta. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many beloved extended family members and friends.
