He is survived by: his mother Angelita Zapata; his children, Lori Zapata (San), April Zapata (San), Chantelle Weinandt of Sioux Falls, SD, Sunshine Zapata-Padgett and Joseph Zapata (Sioux); his siblings, Jesse Zapata, Alex Zapata, Hopi Curiel and Stella Bowen; his grandchildren, Fernando Gonzales, Maryjane Marroquin, Angelica Cavazos, Roland Serna, Brittny Reynosa, Nicholas Guajardo, Aiden St. Clair, Ayvia St. Clair, Isaiah St. Clair and Callum Padgett; and his great grandchild Briella Hernandez.
