He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doyle Woodrow Hester, Sr. and Jarue Doris Canady Hester; his brother Doyle Woodrow Hester, Jr.; his wife Margie Hester of Groves, Texas; his children, Gerald Hester (Cortney) of Bridge City, Texas and Wendy Hester of Nederland, Texas; and his grandchildren, Stefan, Gavyn, Sydney, Abigail, Kelsie, Michael and Miranda.
