She was predeceased by : her parents, Mona Marie Boudreaux Parent and Robert Pierre Parent; her husband Ronald Lee Sedtal; and her brothers, Robert A. Parent, Lionel R. Parent and Donald J. Parent.

She is survived by : her children, Dennis J. Sedtal (Denise), Julie M. Collins (Ronnie), Michael E. Sedtal (Michelle), Christopher P. Sedtal (Lisa), Timothy L. Sedtal (Jackie), Catherine A. Baker (Jayson) and Jeffery D. Sedtal (Ann-Marie); her grandchildren, April Sedtal, Jessica Parker, Rebecca Sedtal, Meagan Williams, Martin Sedtal, Steven Sedtal, Alexander Baker, Angela Baker, Austin Sedtal, Claire Sedtal and Jeffery Sedtal, Jr.; and her siblings, John A. Parent and Linda Parent Robinson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (505 N 12th St, Nederland, TX 77627). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (211 Hardy Ave, Nederland, TX 77627). An entombment was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park-Groves (3900 Twin City Hwy, Groves, TX 77619).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Sedtal's honor may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, Texas 77627 or to Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77030.
