He is survived by: his wife Vera Bowers; his children, Byron Bowers (Cytinya) and Krista Rainer (Brandon); his grandchildren, Travis, Taylor, TreVaughn, Jordan, Jayden, Nyah, Gabrielle and Brandon; his great grandchild Sirahbia; his siblings, Donald Bowers (Shirley), Alvin Bowers (Becky) and Linda Carter; and his in-laws, Kay Bowers, Annie Williams (Obie), Leon Frier (Phyllis), Robert Frier (Vanessa), Linda Allen (Roland) and Deborah Pinkney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
