He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin D. Wright and Georgia Wright; his children, Darrell Wright, Sheila Bryant and Sheri Sands; and his son-in-law Billy Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtie Wright (Pat); his sons, Floyd Martin Wright, Jr. (Tonja) of Maud, William Allen (Melinda) of New Boston, Douglas Allen (Tanya) of New Boston and Micheal Wright (May) of Colorado; Dean Sands of New Boston, Texax.. He is also survived by 3 sisters, 24 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bates Rolf Funeral Home Chapel (502 S McCoy Blvd, New Boston, TX 75570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
