He is survived by: his wife Mary Patterson of New Boston, Texas; his children, Tammey Larey of New Boston, Texas and Daniel Simmons of New Boston, Texas; his siblings, Carlos Patterson of DeKalb, Texas and Brenda Mitchell of New Boston, Texas.; his grandchildren, Jase Larey, Ayden Dastillon, Justin Simmons, James Stewart, Ian Stewart and Brett Stewart; and his great grandchildren, Harper Mae Simmons, Michael Bryan Stewart, Lilliana Rose-Grace Stewart and Yzabella Reighn Barnette.
