She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Steinbring and Melanie Steinbring; her husband Charles Dudley Probst of Martin's Lutheran Church; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Friedrich and Sue Steinbring.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Probst (Marcy), M'Liss Brockman (Rusty), Mike Probst (Diane) and M'Rique Probst; her brother Rev. Edmund Steinbring, Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Rev. Walter Probst, Jr. (Marilyn) and Dr. Major Friedrich. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (1147 S Walnut Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Texas Lutheran University Charles D. and Helen V. Probst Scholarship Fund, Peace Lutheran Church, or Hope Hospice (New Braunfels).
