He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Carnahan and George Carnahan. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Maxwell; his sons, Charles Robert Carnahan and David Lee Carnahan (Andrea); his siblings, Bruce Carnahan (Janet) and Emily Carnahan Perry; his nephew Chase Carnahan (Angel); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Camryn, Makenzie, Jonah and Emilee; and his sisters-in-law, Elsie Maxwell Rosenthal (Don) and Bettye Maxwell Benten (Chris).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1254 I-35BL, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
