He was predeceased by: his parents, June Jeffers (Edward Middleton, Jr.) and Alanson Brown (Peggy). He is survived by: his son John "Jeff" Middleton, II (Amy) of San Antonio; and his siblings, Richard Brown (Kim), Mark Brown, Frank Brown, Lin Middleton Weiss (Steven) of Weatherford and Scott Middleton (Jennifer) of Longmont. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and a multitude of lifelong friends.
