She is survived by: her mother Mailien Neidig; her husband Ralph Behrend; her son Matthew Behrend (Josie); her grandchildren, Alton and Liliana; her son Brian Behrend (Christina); her grandchildren, Ella and Charli; and her brothers, Harlan Neidig (Valarie) and Ronnie Neidig (Rebecca). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, you may consider making a memorial donation to St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Braunfels or Texas Lutheran University's Nursing Program (many TLU nurses cared for her while she was at Resolute Hospital this year).
