It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raquel S. Schmidt of New Braunfels, Texas, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Suarez and Consuelo Martinez Suarez; her daughter Vanessa Rae Willy; and her brother Louis Suarez. She is survived by: her husband William T. Schmidt; her granddaughter Kaela Willy; her siblings, Rosalva Sherrow, Yvonne Nutt (Jim) and Ricardo Suarez; and her siblings-in-law, Penny, Betty (Rick), Jackie, Steve (Cheryl), Pat Schmidt, Mike Schmidt and John Schmidt (Olga).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zoeller Funeral Home (615 Landa St, New Braunfels, TX 78130).
