Ruth M. Pharis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth M. Pharis (New Braunfels, Texas), who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lamar McCalister and Mary Elizabeth McCalister; her brother Charles Thomas McCalister; her son Tracey Lee Pharis (Sherilyn); and her son-in-law James D. Brimer.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Pharis; her children, Beth Brimer and Todd Pharis; her grandchildren, Brandon Chase Pharis, Marshall Colton Pharis, Tucker Edwin Pharis and Shelby Beth Pharis; and her brother Bill McCalister (Jill) of San Antonio. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She and Edwin performed with the Red Stocking Review held for charity benefit of the Comal County Community Center.
