She was predeceased by: her stepgrandfather Tatum; her grandparents, Joseph Shalow Sr. and Emma Thomas; her parents, Millie Ann Shalow and Curly B. Prude; her stepfather Herbert Prejean; her siblings, Curley B. Prude Jr. and Daisy Elizabeth Prude; and her pet Bentley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shari Shalow (Willie) and Catasha Washington-Ward (Ricky) of New Caney, Texas; her grandchildren, La'Darius Shalow of Colorado Springs, CO, Eric Monroe of Austin, TX, Jerry Walker Jr., Bryan and Jaida Ward of New Caney, TX; her pet Bootsie; and her siblings, Shandon Prejean (Chase), Denise Prejean (Charles), Monique Henry and Tommy Prude. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends.
