He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Velasquez (Hermitania Ortiz) and Laura Gonzales; and his brothers, Tito and Leo Velasquez. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Velasquez; his children, Jason Velasquez and Amy White; his stepson Joe King; his siblings, Robert Gonzales and Lydia D. Mayfield; and his grandchildren, Kailey Velasquez, Joseph King and Harper Cherry.
