He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Blackerby; his parents, Walter Herbert Blackerby and Annie Elizabeth Wright Blackerby; and his sister Ann Whitmire. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Winchell (Corina), Debra Straker (Ronnie Ramirez), Lynn Blackerby, David Winchell, Dawn Vanden Hul (Eric), Jada Depenbrock (Rod), Ron Blackerby (Traci), Sheley Clifton (David) and Eugenia McFarland. He is also survived by his twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
