She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Francis Brosky and Louise Anthony Brosky (Nofsinger); her husband Thomas Schaefer; and her children, John Edward Schaefer and Catherine Ann Schaefer.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Moore (James), Nancy Schaefer, Jennifer Smith (Brian), Theresa Schaefer, Dominick Schaefer, Martin Schaefer and Michael Schaefer (Anne); her sisters, Joan Roache (Ray) and Margaret Quinlan; her grandchildren, Monica Rose Schaefer, Jared Andrew Schaefer, Kyle Lee Schaefer, Steven Matthew Schaefer, Dylan Cole Schaefer, Catherine Brianna Smith, Evan James Smith, Zoe Lorena Morales and Benito Tomas Morales; and her great grandchildren, Cole Ryan Schaefer, Brady Hayes Schaefer and Janessa Suzanne Schaefer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church - Frelsburg (1031 Church Ln, New Ulm, TX 78950). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
