It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Durham (Newark, Texas), who passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Kathy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Kathy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. E. Chesshir and Genevieve Chesshir (Stone); and her brothers, Jerry Chesshir and David Chesshir. She is survived by: her husband Page Durham; her children, Mike Durham (Joella), David Durham, Robin Puente and Ronda Durham; and her sister Debra Pannell. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
