He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert R. Hatfield and Goldie Hatfield (Masten); his wife Betty Jane Lowry; his grandson Jonathan Hatfield; and his siblings, Donald Hatfield, Bobby Hatfield, Jimmy Hatfield and Inez Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Scottie Hatfield (Becky) of Bryson, Mickey Olivares of Alice and Kim Everett of Arlington, Texas; and his sisters, Helen Harris (Dewey) of Wichita Falls, Jeraldine Maddox (Darwin) of Henrietta and Patsy Curtright of Apache, Oklahoma. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
