He is survived by: his wife Betty (Pope); his sons, Gary Leonard and Mark Leonard (Amy); his children-in-law, Willie Chancellor and Debbie Bland; and his grandchildren, Kari Jones, Kurtis Chancellor, Kayla Hyden, Tony Chancellor, Kris Leonard, Brandon Leonard, Shane Leonard, Kasey Patrick, Kandi Leonard, Madeline Leonard and Dana Wine. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (310 7th St, Nocona, TX 76255). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
