She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William A. Bilsing II and Shirley Bilsing (Goike); her daughter Anna Elisabeth Smith (Brian Smith); her husband Mike McKinzie; and her niece Tammy Bilsing.
She is survived by: her sons, Bernard "Bernie" Smith (Victoria), Eli Bartnett and Asa Bartnett (Robby Bartnett); her siblings, Billy (Kay Bilsing), Kathryn Bilsing, Steve Tenalio, Dean (Tracy Bilsing), Sherry Bilsing-Graham (Mark Graham), Paul Bilsing (Mary Rucker) and Michael (Amber Ray); and her stepsons, Austin Bartnett, Ashley, Tyler Bartnett and Tori. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (402 Main St, Normangee, TX 77871). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Hopewell Cemetery.
