It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Brown of Normangee, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Eugene and Olga Harriett Bass (Manson); her sons, Eugene Brown and Jason Brown; and her great grandchild Emily Mae Pruitt.
She is survived by: her husband James Brown; her children, Debra Robinson (Jud), Linda Stell (Jerry) and Salina Taylor (Seth); her daughter-in-law Stephanie Theiss; her grandchildren, Caleb Stell, Janelle, Shay Robinson (Sarah), Zachary Robinson, Brandi Taylor (Joe Jon), Jeremy Evans (Crystal), Matthew Taylor, Joshua Stell (Shantele), Josiah Mathis, Whitney Schroeder (John Mark), Evelyn McWilliams (Derek), Micah Stell, Sarina, Eric Pruitt (Cristina), Natalie Ogden (Michael), Jason Stell (Ashley) and Logan Robinson (Chelsey); and her sisters, Jean Jones and Sherryl Spurling. She is also survived by 49 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (202 4th St, Normangee, TX 77871). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hopewell Cemetery.
