She is survived by: her children, Gabriel Gomez Jr. of Corpus Christi, Baudelia Bargas (Frank) of Odem, Concepcion Barrera (Richard) of Odem, Janie Edwards (C. J.) of Corpus Christi, Debra Serrano of Odem and Elia Hernandez of Corpus Christi; her siblings, Claudio Castro of Lansing, Michigan and Elvira Trevino of Mathis; and her caregivers, Irma Bargas Munoz, Theresa Ortiz, Elida Torres, Maggie Gonzales, Maria Sanchez, Janie Lara, Christina Hinojosa and Amy. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
