He was predeceased by: his wife Cruz Leza Ansualda; and his daughter Elovinda "Louie" Ansualda. He is survived by: his sisters, Janie Gonzales and Lupe Pantoja; his daughters, Lucy Solis (Eric), Maribel Olvera (Levar), Benita Adamez (Sam) and Sandy Ansualda; his nephews, Rudy Jay Ansualda (Veronica) and Gino Ansualda (Victoria); his grandchildren, Marisa Ansualda (Tommy), Matthew Leal (Andrea), Francisco "Frank" Ansualda, Brandon Mejias, Derrick, Alexander, Addison Solis, Katerina Ansualda, Kristen, Lukas Alviar, Reyna Sanchez, Alex Leal (Clarissa), Michael Leal (Natasha), Tiffany Leal (Rueben), Alexis Castillo (MJ), Samantha Heggie (Sam) and Zoe Adamez; and his great grandchildren, Ela Chavez, Evan Chavez, Aiden Chavez, Penelope Ansualda, Grace, AJ Leal, Aria, Rueben, Jayden Benavides, Layla Rodriguez and Alexis Heggie.
