He is survived by: his sons, Baldemar and Homero Gomez; and his grandchildren, Jesus Antonio Gomez Jr., Yesenia Gomez, Valdemar Gomez, Alexsandra G. Melendez, Janette Villa, Anthony Gomez, Sabrina Oscar, Adam Gomez and Stephanie Gomez. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
