He was predeceased by: his wife Erma Gean Slack; his brother Walter Gene Slack; and his parents, P. W. Slack and Grace Slack. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim (Larry Sears), Sandy (Warren Lopata) and Nancy (Max May); his grandchildren, Ashley Sears, Josh Sears, Paige (Jay Derington), Jackson, Luke, Grace Lopata, Darren May and Kayla Davidson; and his great grandchildren, Zereniti Sears, Clay, Taylor Derington, Alexia Davidson, Bryson Davidson and Asher Villa.
