He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Hernandez and Amelia Hernandez; his sister Dolores Lopez; and his great grandchild Jozelynn Varela Castillo. He is survived by: his wife Valentina A. Hernandez; his daughter Morrow (Barry) of Rockwall; his grandchildren, Reshall Castillo, Robert Hernandez, Jr., Eric Hernandez, Crystal Mendoza, Nickolas Flores, Matthew Flores, Zoë Flores, Joshua Terrazas, Jovannah Venegas and Josaih Venegas; his siblings, Angie Rodriguez of Tulare, Connie Salcido of Grand Prairie and Jesse Hernandez, Jr. of Artesia, N. M.; his pet Max II; and his grandson Alyxander Terrazas. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and one baby great great granddaughter.
