He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Martinez Ramirez (Reynaldo Ramirez), Benjamin Martinez Jr. (Jaime Martinez), Elizabeth Martinez (Alvaro Martinez), Maria Luz Martinez-Gonzales (Mary), Javier Martinez, Jorge Martinez (Angie Martinez), Robert Martinez (Sarah Martinez) and Eduardo Martinez (Catrina Martinez); his grandchildren, Joaquin Ramirez, Rachel Ramirez Perez, Robert Benjamin Martinez-Castillo, Danielle Levario, Natalie Vasquez, Emerald, Isadora Martinez, Alexis Weston, Diego, Nicolas Martinez, Marisa, Marina, Sofia Gonzales, Alex Vasquez, Cecilia Martinez, Mia Puckett, Eva, Clara Martinez, Desiree Franco, Tatiana, Eddie Jr. and Christopher Martinez; his great grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Benjamin Perez, Charlie, Dylan, Logan Levario, Joseph, Emma, Luna, Lilly Weston, Bodie, Scottie Puckett, Abigail, Jonathan, AJ Bejarano and John David Villa; and his great great grandchild Ava Nieto.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory (1040 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St Joseph's Catholic Church (907 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (6801 E, I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762).
