He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Madlyn Rice and Clyde Charleston Rice; and his siblings, Ronnie, Charles, Wayne, Dan and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Cooper Rice; his children, Chelsea Madlyn Rice of Odessa and Clint Charleston Rice of Lubbock; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Newsom Rice; his brother Sam Rice; and his sisters-in-law, Jan, Linda and Mary Jo. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
