Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Doris leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hauglie and Cecil Hauglie; her son-in-law David Omachel; and her sister Lois Bomier. She is survived by: her children, Jim Hammond (Lora Hammond), Jon Hammond (Miriam Hammond), Sharon Omachel and Karon Jurgemeyer (Bill Jurgemeyer); and her siblings, Gordon Hauglie and Mary Grace McFarlane. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be sent to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lutheran Braille Workers, and Meals on Wheels.
