It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faustino D. Lara of Odessa, Texas, born in Pecos, Texas, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Lara and Refugia Lara; his grandparents, Eulogio and Juanita Lara; his siblings, Anna Barron, Susie Lara, Lupe Lara and Raul Lara; his parents-in-law, Juan and Delfina Gomez; and his siblings-in-law, Bertha Gomez, Raymond Gomez, Carlos Martinez, Mundo Garcia, Gray and Tommy Trammell.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Lara; his children, Amy Moreno (Oscar), George Gomez (Maggie) and Faustino Lara Jr. (Neomi); his brothers, Armando Lara (Araceli) and Ruben Lara (Olivia); his grandchildren, Desiree Mosby (Keenan), Destinee Moreno, Deylan Moreno, Dylan Moreno, Aaron Gomez, Jereme Gomez (Celeste), Bryan Gonzales, Giovanni Banning (Justin), Nicole Lara, Serena Lara, Aliyah Lara and Anberlin Lara; and his great grandchildren, Kaz Mosby and Keilani Mosby.
