She was predeceased by: her parents, Lela Irene Caldwell Nix and Collon Clifton "Dub" Nix; and her siblings, Nancy Bedwell, W. R. Nix, L. G. Nix, Richard Nix and Roger Nix.
She is survived by: her husband Ravis Wayne Thorp; her children, Terry Thorp (Becky) of Odessa and Kim Snyder (Buddy) of Odessa; her sisters, Bonnie Allred (Roy) of Big Spring and Linda DeWaters (Nick) of Big Spring; her grandchildren, Heather Thorp, Jason Thorp, Brance Barber, Edward Snyder (Brittany) and Alec Snyder; and her great grandchild Madilyn Snyder. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
