She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hulen Dulaney and Lola Fredrick Hutchinson; her husband Willis Gunn (Tech University) of Texas; her sister Shirley Lowery; and her daughter Susan Gunn Jernigan.

She is survived by: her son Stephen Gunn; her daughter-in-law Tamara; her daughter Diana Gunn Branson; her grandson Benjamin Branson; her son-in-law Ray Jernigan; her grandsons, Case Jernigan and Sam Jernigan; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Emma and Olivia Jernigan.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer society.
