He is survived by: his children, Paula Lang, Phillip Murray (Loraine) and Joe Murray; his grandchildren, Phillip Leslie Murray (Kathy), Kevin Murray (Lana), Benny Armendarez (Lisa), Joey Wildeman (Michelle), Jenny Hofer, Snoopy Elrod (Shannon), Pamela Ann Woodard (Jimmy), Johnnie Hamby and Chris Lang (Heather Touchstone); and his close friend Dan Nastansky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
