He is survived by: his wife Margarita Zapico; his children, Mabel Chamorro (Carlos) of St. Bernardo, Brenda Gifford of Odessa, Texas, Susy Cleaveland (Jim) of Loveland, Colorado. and William "Willy" Gifford (Bethy) of Marshall, Texas.; and his grandchildren, William Gifford (Donna), Tony Gifford (Rebecca), Yanina Enriquez (Christian), Beverly Gifford Rangel (Robert), Steven Gifford (Liset), Martin Chamorro (Lily), Lynn Haigh (Robbie), Shawn Gifford, Christy Barnes, Crystal Hudson, Amy Carrillo (Jason), Brenda Chamorro, Diana Chamorro and Kyle Cleaveland (Kaitlyn).
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Odessa Funeral Home (1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, TX 79761).
