He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Bryant Brunson and Helen Shelton Brunson Crow; his stepfather George Edward Crow; and his sister Thelnita Brunson Fincher. He is survived by: his wife Lorri Kelley Brunson; his children, Jeffry Brunson (Julie), Joey Linney, Joshua Linney (Briana), JoyLynn Brunson and Sharee Linney; his siblings, Galand Brunson (Cindy), Roland Kim Brunson, Rolayne Brunson Campau, Bryantrina Brunson Klecka (Joe), Ricky Brunson (Cordy), Eddy Crow (Julie) and Greg Crow (Karla); his brother-in-law Larry Fincher (Lorinda); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Bethany, Garrett, Jeffri, Prissy and Jenna. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Texas Lions Club Camp in Kerrville, Texas.
