He is survived by: his children, Gary Barner and Neva Barner; his grandchildren, Shanae, Dylan Doughty, Chanler McDonald, Jazlyn Andrews, Daniel Barner and Alyssa Barner; his great grandchildren, Ava and Brynlee; and his siblings, Pete Barner, Neta Barner and Jesse Wickliffe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
