He is survived by: his children, Cindy Rodriguez, Jose Luis Mesa Jr., Enrique Mesa, John Mesa and Naila Flor Gayosso; and his siblings, Susana Molina (Eduardo), Pablo Tapia, Alberto Tapia (Maria), Teresa Tapia, Georgina Vasquez (Juan) and Ana Bertha Olivo (Leonel).
A rosary was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel (1311 W Florida Ave, Midland, TX 79701). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
