He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Stone and Clarence "Stoney" Stone; his parents-in-law, A. G. "Cowboy" Fuhrman and Betty Fuhrman; and his grandson Micheal Layton Stone.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Stone; his children, Stephanie Whitworth (Daryl) and Micheal Stone (Kelli); his grandchildren, Delaney Whitworth, Derek Whitworth and Aubrey Stone; and his sister Jean Jones. He is also survived by numerous friends and coworkers.

Memorial denotations can be made in memory of Lee Stone to MD Anderson Cancer Center, The American Cancer Society or Cook Children's Medical Center.
