He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Venable and Ziola Venable; his wife Evelyn Venable; his children, Vivian, Dwight and Traci; and his sisters, Marlene and Mona.
He is survived by: his friend Darrell. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
